Dr. Asadi is a specialist dedicated to advancing research and innovation in interdisciplinary fields, including geotechnical engineering and environmental engineering. His areas of expertise include investigating sustainable binders for geotechnical soil improvement. He holds the following credentials: Fellow of the UK Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand (CMEngNZ), and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
Experience and Achievements:
Holds a Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering & an MSc in environmental engineering.
Years of experience in delivering geotechnical consulting services.
Supervises geotechnical research and investigation projects.
Serves as a reviewer for leading geotechnical journals.
Published technical publications on environmentally-friendly ground improvement techniques and sustainable geotechnics.
Recipient of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Research Fellowship, Australia-Awards Endeavour Fellowship, and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Invitation Fellowship (JSPS).
Currently acts as a senior geotechnical team leader at Wilton Joubert Consulting Engineers (Northland, Auckland-Waikato, Canterbury, Southern Lake).
Serves as a research industry advisor for Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.
